Laura's House is a completely renovated three-
story building topped with a green roof. The
exterior is white and is adorned in the front by
beautiful hand-crafted stone columns that
support a second story balcony overlooking the
Rocky Broad River Park and Main Street of
Chimney Rock Village. This site was formerly
known as the 30 year old Ford Restaurant and Ice
Cream Parlor. Prior to this it was known as the
80-year-old Dalton Inn. Thus, there has been a
restaurant on this site for the past 130 years!

The front of the building is all glass, and from
the dining room on the second floor you will
experience a breathtaking view of awe-
inspiring Chimney Rock. Directly across the
street, the Rocky Broad River Park creates the
foreground for the view, bordered on the far
side by the tumbling Broad River.

The third story houses a stage where
entertainment will be showcased. Through the
windows behind the stage is a view of the
mountain where the movie "Last of the
Mohicans" was filmed.
